CD completely failed to play after approximately 5 hours. It was a Christmas gift and the recipeint had thrown out the original shipping material so he cannot send it back. Also, not worth the time and the two way shipping. Sometimes you lose.
It works well. My father is an older gentleman who is intimidated by technology. Absolutely no problems. He did not want any bells or whistles on his CD player, just the player. This machine met his criteria. Do be careful when buying an electical adaptor for it. Not all will fit this product.
I bought this CD player for my husband for Christmas, and was a little upset because the packaging looked somewhat battered, as if it had been on a shelf for a LONG time. However, it is indeed new and works perfectly.
Works great. Two other brands I had skipped regularly, a Craig I returned. Sound quality is excellent. I walk a mile to work and back with it stuck in my computer carrying case, bouncing along on my hip, and it has not bobbled or skipped once. I couldn't go five feet without it messing up. Sony CD Walkman is highly recommended.
symbols are even smaller and are hard to read in any kind of light. The read-out is too small.
I needed a new "Discman"and chose the D-EJ001. Sony is a trusted name in my house.
The sound was OK with another set. Battery compartment is in an awkward place-they're hard to put in because the lid is in the way.We should be given a choice of headphones styles when purchasing a player.
The ones that came with the D-EJ011 were useless - they kept popping out of my ears, therefore needing almost constant readjustment. The shuffle, repeat etc.
I had my player only a few months when it was stolen, and I'm not sure whether or not I'd buy another D-EJ011.
